Pros

$15 an hour to start, 4 day a week work schedule. No on-call. Better than most dead-end jobs out there.

Cons

Amazon themselves. Lackluster benefits, no sick pay or PTO. Only 1 week of vacation after a year. Expensive healthcare. Terrible retirement plan, your better off just opening a ROTH IRA elsewhere. Again, Amazon! They control every aspect of this job. The routing, the schedule, the amount of packages you deliver. They will have you delivering in dangerous areas and during rush hour traffic. I've seen god knows how many drivers get into accidents on this job! High turnover, low moral. The overall fact that you are "contracted out" and NOT an Amazon employee. Very heavy packages and NO dolly given, so plan on ruining your back on this job. The delivery vehicle given is poorly suited to the job. So be prepared for packages to go everywhere when you hit the brakes!

Pros

Good Schedule 4, 10 hour days. Management and dispatch are great doing the best with what they have to work with.

Cons

Communication between the drivers and dispatch is difficult because of the use of cell phones and service provider. There seems to be a break in communication between the warehouse (DSR1) and the home office in Miami, getting answers for anything takes a while. My only issue is I left the company almost a month ago because I was offered a better opportunity for my family and still have not received my final paycheck. I was told it would be mailed to me and never got it. Tried to call and email no response. You can't call the home office because the only information you can get from their website is on how to apply for a job. You are only eligible for benefits after you work there for 1 year.
