1. The Management does not have any empathy or gratitude for the work we did. Initially when GBS was set up in 2021, we faced lot of hurdles since none of us were conversant with the UAE market/product, and its intricacies. We had to put in lot of effort / long hours at office to meet the demands of onshore stakeholders. We had to struggle a lot since the UAE market is entirely different from US/Europe/Indian markets where we had experience in. Through our rigorous efforts, we came up to pace very quickly, and successfully met their expectations (in fact, I would say we even exceeded them in some cases). However, that did not ultimately reflect in the annual increment numbers. We got low-to-mid single digit salary hikes this year which do not even cover basic necessities like Inflation, Rent rice appreciation in Bangalore market. 2. There is no concrete policy still formed (even after more than 2 years) for GBS employees with regards to the annual appraisal and increment. It is at the sole discretion of the management if we will get any hike at all next year. Even this year, we came to know that other teams have not got any hike till date; which implies they have not got any salary increase after they have joined FAB-GBS in mid-2021. Not sure what the expectation of the management is with regards to GBS employees' career growth & aspirations!! 3. The UAE management's attitude is to always treat us as second class citizens!! Everything will be remote controlled from Head Office in UAE. The previous HR head who was trying to bring forward our issues/problems before the UAE management, had to leave because his proposals was not paid any heed to!! Now there is no HR head in GBS. We heard that they will recruit a CEO for FAB-GBS when senior people came in January to visit GBS office this year. But till now there is no update. Even access to sites which are absolutely essential for our day-to-day work is not given to any members of GBS Credit team. 4. The IT team at GBS, the less said about them, the better it is!! Can you imagine that we do not have any Printer access in GBS office? 5. Another incompetent & useless team is the Admin & Facilities team. Can you imagine that even for getting basic things like good quality Tea/Coffee, we have to fight with the Admin team?
