Pros

At Fluent Forever, the support and teamwork within our relatively small team are great. Despite being remote, I always feel supported, thanks to the wonderful coworkers. With flexible hours, balancing work and personal life becomes much easier (although, being responsible and self-disciplined is key to managing your time effectively). Also, there are many opportunities for personal and professional growth, including learning new skills, trying different roles, and contributing to new projects. Additionally, the benefits and perks, such as unlimited PTO and team-building activities, help to maintain a positive work environment.

Cons

I personally don't see this as a con, but self-managing your workload can be tricky, especially if you're new to working remotely or struggle with time management. Also, coordinating with teammates in different time zones can be a bit of a challenge. However, with good communication these challenges are manageable.

Pros

This is hands down the best company I've worked for! Sure, the salary is competitive and the benefits are great, but beyond that they've managed to build a positive, fun, and inclusive company culture that makes working every day a lot of fun. The company values diversity and encourages everyone to bring their authentic selves to work. I know a lot of companies say this nowadays but Fluent Forever is the only place I've seen that really embodies this and treats their employees as people first and employees second. It's a fully remote company but they do a good job of mixing in team building activities to your daily work that after a short period of time you really get to know your coworkers despite being so spread out across the globe. As a software developer, there are plenty of opportunities for you to grow and learn new things. Management does a great job of balancing the need to meet business objectives with a freedom that allows developers to innovate and explore tech that interests them.

Cons

As a young company, sometimes I feel that operating procedures for my role aren't documented or structured as well as I would like, but this is improving, and I expect it won't be an issue much longer.
