Cons
These are my honest opinion regarding Freshworks where I joined as Sr. SDET, 1 year back. * There is strong favoritism toward people from Chennai, which makes others feel treated unfairly. * Many people start speaking in Tamil during meetings, so non-Tamil speakers feel left out and disconnected. * There is no proper onboarding plan for new joiners, which makes it hard to understand the work and settle in. * Senior employees do too much micromanagement and do not give enough freedom to work independently. * Bugs and tickets are assigned to QA without proper details, so most of the time goes into understanding the task instead of doing the actual work. * The process and workflow are too complicated, and too much time is wasted on formalities instead of real work. * Communication is very poor, and people do not respond or support on time, but they still expect work to be finished on time. * Employees are often asked to work on weekends, so there is almost no work-life balance. * Some seniors are toxic and may call even when you are on sick leave just to ask for work updates. * The company has a hire-and-fire culture, so employees always feel worried about losing their jobs. * Deadlines are given more importance than employee health and personal life. * Some employees are asked to work till 4 AM–7 AM to finish tasks, which is very unhealthy. * Automation work is not valued much, and it feels like it does not help fast-track the QA process.
