    I worked at Godrej Infotech full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Nothing Much. Low rent accommodation in Mumbai suburbs, but Godrej Infotech Employees always have to stay at the end of line to get accommodation as preference is given to employees of the parent company. Flexi work hours but mandatory 9 hours work day, come early leave early or come late leave late.

    Cons

    A lot... the section cannot accommodate the cons... Only by name is it an IT company. Everything else is a huge complex mess. Policies are completely outdated and do not conform to even the basic policies of IT industry. Management is a bunch of boot lickers who suck up to the management of the parent company. The policies and direction of the company is decided by the Corporate affairs department of the parent... company and is have to beg them to introduce even small changes to the company infrastructure. The company is a slave to its parent company and the employees are treated like slaves by them. The infrastructure is very poor. They are still in the stone age. Any change in the process is frowned upon and makes the management uncomfortable. The only Change in the company, is the title of the quarterly magazine. No employment engagement activity is hosted by the company itself. HR consists of a bunch of liers and are not liable to answer any of the queries an employees comes up with. The only reply you get to any query is "You cant question the management. Management's decision is final and binding on all." HR gives a rosy picture of the company while hiring which entirely opposite to the ground reality. Promotions are at the mercy of employees at level you will get promoted to. You get promoted if and only if a vacancy comes up at the next level which is highly unlikely. The vacancy comes up only when the person in that level leaves the company, retires or dies. Pay is very low as compared to other IT companies. Very less avenues of tax savings as basic component is very low as compared to HRA component. Huge mandatory pay cuts made from your paltry salary towards non-claimable Mediclaim for the first four months of the financial year putting you under lot of financial stress.

    If possible, please close down the company, as you don't deserve to be in the field of IT.
