Great Tech Company for New Grads

Very good work-life balance, and the people make you feel comfortable and able to be yourself. It doesn't feel like a high pressure environment but everyone works hard because we enjoy it and enjoy building technology that provides values to our customers. Onboarding as a new grad has also been really good.
Cons
None that I can think of!

Ridiculous company
20 May 2023 - Delivery Driver in San Diego, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
No boss. Sometimes it can be worthwhile to deliver and the pay rate can be fair.
Cons
Most delivery offers are so low paying that it amounts to charity work. Blocks are very difficult to schedule. Dollars per mile of delivery can be extremely low and make it only worthwhile to accept fewer than 10% of offers. Support agents can be inept. If you stop at a security gate the app will prompt to ask why you are not moving, but you cannot enter a reply. You can be blamed for late orders even though the restaurant did not have the order ready for 15 minutes after you arrived to take it. You cannot explain your side of anything you are wrongfully blamed for while delivering. Acceptance rate is dependent upon the quality of offers given; if it is not profitable to deliver an order, a driver should not be required to accept it. That being said, why do the $4 / 10 mile delivery offers exist on the platform. I'd like to see the money takers at this company go out there and donate their time, fuel and other resources to this. In fact, it would be constructive for certain individuals in the company to experience just how ridiculous the expectations are for drivers. Get out there and try your own app, maybe you will stop blaming drivers for trying to have a decent, and gainful experience with it.
