Pros
Office for most of my time there was the dump on Fleet Street with abysmal food but the new office is much better
Cons
Lots of interpersonal issues, lots of ego management. Everyone thinks they are the smartest guy in the room and has to say something in every meeting. Juniors overloaded with nonsense work and pointless analysis. As a VP with no influence of decision making power my bonus was cut one year because of a strategy that was pushed by the MD who had a vested interest in doing deals in Spain which I objected to but was forced to work on, as if it was my idea. Trust no one and be prepared to have to defend yourself when the blame storming starts.
