Pros
Great co-workers, lots of talented people and really want to see the company succeed. 95% of the employees are awesome. Somehow a great collection of people are working here and have stuck by this company through some really tough times. Lots and lots of industry knowledge and a deep desire to make the products better.
Cons
Management - ZERO Leadership or interest in employees. If you are not a director or above, management does not want to talk to you and would prefer not to even look at you.
It is a boy's club, and IT management is clearly on the last stop to retirement -- taking paychecks until bailing with the golden parachute. On the development side, if you are a woman, you are treated with disdain, as though everything you say is ridiculous and of no value -- this is especially egregious given the fact that there are many women in key positions (including product OWNERS) that are relied upon by the entire company for their knowledge, yet development leadership alternately ignores them or treats them badly.
Also, lots of worthless employees taking up payroll. There is so much dead wood here, and no personal accountability. Management seems incapable of getting rid of these people to give other talented employees a chance at new opportunities. And, for a company of this size, there are way too many Director - VPs with bloated salaries who do NOTHING.
