Pros

State of the art, bleeding edge technologies. Used to have good benefits and monthly team-building exercises with nice prizes.

Cons

The CEO and CIO/CMO have a strange, unwritten bond. Both seem very paranoid and pre-occupied about what the public/workers might be saying. It's a division of Nook Industries run by a Nook child. Extremely high turnover.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. I’m glad you recognized the advanced technology and capabilities we’ve built here—that innovation is exactly why we’re trusted by many of the world’s most forward-thinking manufacturing companies across aerospace, medical, and industrial markets. We’ve experienced significant growth over a short period of time, and with that growth have come real lessons. Scaling a high-performance manufacturing business isn’t easy, and we haven’t gotten everything right along the way. We’ve made changes to leadership structure, benefits, communication, and culture based directly on feedback from our team. Helix Linear is an independent, family-founded company built on accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement—not perfection. Our focus today is on building a durable organization with clear direction, strong leadership, and long-term opportunities for people who want to grow with us. We respect that this environment isn’t the right fit for everyone, but we’re confident in the path forward and proud of the customers, team members, and partners who are helping us shape the next chapter.

Pros

From a quality manager here at Helix Linear, it’s been exciting to see the impact of the operational leadership that the owner has recently brought in—they’re raising the bar across process discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement. There’s a stronger focus on standardization, root cause, and doing things right the first time, while still maintaining the speed and flexibility our customers expect. It feels like we’re building something more scalable and robust without losing what’s made Helix successful.

Cons

A few challenges from a quality standpoint: The push toward stronger processes means more structure, which can take some getting used to across teams Speed is a big strength here, but it can occasionally put pressure on documentation and standard work if you’re not staying disciplined With new operational leadership and changes happening, alignment isn’t always perfect yet—it’s improving, but still a work in progress Overall, it’s the kind of friction you’d expect from a company stepping up its operational game.

Pros

Other than some of the employees, there really aren't any pros. Hostile environment and no quality dept. Because everyone quit.

Cons

CEO is toxic and an extreme micro manager who pits everyone against each other. He creates and enjoys a hostile environment.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I do want to clarify one important point, as accuracy matters to us and to anyone reading these reviews. The characterization of our Quality function is not accurate. Helix Linear has achieved and continues to maintain an AS9100-certified aerospace quality management system, which requires rigorous processes, disciplined documentation, continuous auditing, and a culture of accountability. This certification is not a one-time milestone—it is earned and upheld through ongoing third-party audits and daily execution across engineering, manufacturing, and inspection. Quality is deeply embedded in how we operate, especially given the industries we serve, including aerospace, defense, medical, and other high-reliability markets. Our customers depend on us for precision, traceability, and consistency, and we take that responsibility seriously. That said, we recognize that not every experience is the same, particularly during periods of growth and change. We’re committed to continuous improvement—in our systems, our communication, and our culture—and we appreciate feedback that helps us do better. We wish you the best in your next chapter and thank you for taking the time to share your perspective.
