Pros
There are so many other companies to work for.
Cons
The products cause more pain to operate which is not balanced by the low cost. It is difficult to stand behind product. No one from China in the company seems to have any telecom experience yet they will stand up and tell US companies how to operate... very funny to witness. Life is a power point and somewhere in the company, a deputy general of PPT division exists. Usually, "Local" employees are not hired by their skills on their resume but rather by the potential connections to companies on their resume (seen as foot in the door). Company is not a telecom equipment provider. It is a manufacturer. Customers should be very aware of this. Lying and faking is "normal" in China. Customers should be very cautious when dealing with Chinese companies. Huawei's expenses are financed by employee's credit cards... then they have to fight the company to get repaid....even after local management approval, some one in HQ China can over-rule. There must be only 5 corporate credit cards in the whole company. Can "employee ownership" be a ponzi scheme? Could be interesting...times ahead. Xenophobic
