Pros

Little studio with interesting web and mobile projects. No enforced dress code. Offices with good location.

Cons

Bad culture and values, lack of trust, respect and with a very low morale. Imaginary Cloud is not a place where you can grow professionally, if you care about your professional career, don't work here! Many key employees left the company and there is a reason for the high turnover rate. Search about the company and find out what is going on behind the scenes. Find people on social media and ask lots of questions about why they left and what they thought about the company.

Thank you for your review. It means a lot to us that, despite not having a good work experience, you still took the time to help us becoming a better company. As ImaginaryCloud’s top manager I’d like to apologise for any action or words that made you, or anyone, feel unappreciated in any way. I'm also sorry I was not able to foster a trusting communication link with you, as I do with most of my team members. About the professional progression, we are a small team and therefore can't offer unlimited career options or roles. But we do offer an array of learning tools, and we strive to continuously present our team with opportunities to learn new techs and develop their skills. Also, we have a Career Plan in place, and are now building a Training Plan on top of it. And although we do our best to help people grow, I'm sure there will always be times where some of us realise that we need to look for experience elsewhere. And that's OK. Company culture is something we continuously work on improving, and we had some tough lessons to learn from in the past. But making some wrong decisions must not be synonym of bad management. Bad management would be not taking a step back and correct our mistakes. And we did. I am also proud to say that our turnover rate is zero. Again, thanks for the time invested in posting this recommendation. Feedback is most appreciated, even the negative one, as this is key for continuous improvement.

Pros

- Remote work and flexible hours; - Company culture, with very competent people who are also nice humans; - Transparency about strategy, revenue, goals, career plan and compensation. - Monthly support from the People department, with 30-minute calls to monitor motivation and engagement with the company, and also to discuss any issues that employees might be facing. - Annual salary adjustment according to inflation, plus opportunity to apply for a promotion every six months. - Good managers / decision-makers.

Cons

- Promotion/appraisal system is overly complex and time-consuming, and relies too much on the ability of the employee to justify their "good work" on the appraisal forms. - Vacation and Christmas bonuses are paid in twelfths regardless of the worker's preference.

Pros

Trabalhar na Imaginary Cloud tem sido uma experiência positiva. Entre os pontos fortes, destaco o ambiente saudável e colaborativo, a possibilidade de trabalhar com diferentes pessoas e projetos, e o facto de a empresa ser totalmente remota, o que facilita bastante o equilíbrio entre vida pessoal e profissional. A compensação na área de design é justa e competitiva, e existe abertura para crescimento profissional ao longo do tempo.

Cons

Há algumas iniciativas internas que poderiam ser reforçadas, e o processo de progressão na carreira poderia ser mais orientado pela empresa, em vez de recair tanto no colaborador.
