Pros
Working at Kitchell I have met some amazing coworkers and have worked on some great projects. I truly believe the new President, Wendy, will make Kitchell into the company it used to be.
Cons
The new leaders underneath the new president will not assist with keeping the culture of Kitchell alive. It's a big disappointment that the new leaders are literally family and they have a history of their family holding high positions within the company; it's an underground boys club. The company does not have a good system for training and overall career advancement even though Kitchell has been in the valley for decades. The work-life balance takes a toll on your family despite Kitchell claiming they care about everyone's health and well being. If you're not at work specific hours, including working mandatory weekends, the higher ups will think you are not committed and lazy. Pay is low, bonuses are lacking, and the company uses employee ownership/stock as their justification. Good luck getting a job anytime soon as the company is currently financially suffering significantly due to mismanagement and lack of work.
