Pros
I love to work at LevelUp, because of the open vibe and strong togetherness culture. We are very honest with each other (and with clients!) and there is hardly hierarchy. Everybody takes their responsibility, is focussed on growing and improving the company. At the same time there is room to calls each other out if something is not working (doesn't matter if it concerns an intern or our founder Aik). The company values we recently described together are: integrity, humour, intention to improve, persistence and team effort. I can completely align with them!
Cons
The downside of the openness and honesty, is that it's not sugarcoated. Although for me it creates more safety, because I don't have to be on guard for subtle signals and gossip, what is said is what there is. For others this might be perceived as somewhat harsh or too direct. Also the fact that we are still a young and growing company, means that not everything is captured in a clear, predictable process. Even though we are getting there more and more, we are still often experimenting, improving and crafting the best way of working on the go.
