I want to share my experience of very toxic work environment in Bangladesh in MGH OBHAI vertical. Senior management shows a lack of competence and prioritizes approving the director in his responsibility to manage the company wisely. Their willingness to meet unrealistic expectations or perform improbable tasks proposed by the MD undermines their credibility as leaders. The behavior of team leaders is questionable and HODs show worse behavior. They are not reasonable and burden the workers too much. For example, they arrive at the office after the agreed time and require their subordinates to work extended hours six days a week. The HR department is also not spared from the excessive expectations placed on them. They will do whatever the MD thinks on his head , even if it means agreeing to unrealistic timelines or impossible tasks like collecting stones from Mars. As a result of poor management by HOD, OBHAI vertical is in decline. The lack of etiquette, rudeness and incompetence of the CEO compound the problem. Last year, the company laid off skilled workers to cut costs, but soon after hired a significant number of new workers, which seems illogical. I cannot recommend MGH as a viable job especially in OBHAI vertical. The corporate culture is detrimental to employees' careers, and speaking out against bad management can lead to dismissal.
