Pros

Casual environment, social events, work on cool advertising projects, fun coworkers

Cons

Overall environment not supportive and could be clicky. Understaffed and working across offices not always successful. Structure of certain departments didn't make sense. Very poor PTO policy not aligned with current industry practices. Staff mostly millennials.

Pros

Superior and crazy intelligent upper management who encourage growth and upward mobility. They believe in hiring the best so they can be the best and this is clearly evident in their product. They offer excellent health benefits, 401k match, BBQs every Friday from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Crazy Halloween costume contest. They give you the freedom to do your job. I never felt unnecessarily over-worked or under appreciated. I had a very fair pay-rate with opportunity for substantial promotions. And if you enjoy team-activities, there is the on-going red vs. blue sporting events. How fun to get to play ultimate frisbee and kickball with your coworkers before a night out paid by MC. The beer fridge is steadily stocked. MeringCarson is not afraid to spend money on their employees which creates a very fun and inspiring work enviornment. I was extremely sad to have to leave as I could easily see myself as part of their team for many years ahead. I highly recommend this agency if not only for the perks, but for the opportunity to be a part of some big clients and big projects. And they keep getting more!

Cons

Can be a little gossipy and tense. But that comes with people who have worked together for 10+ years. It is also slightly cliquey. But they will open their arms and let you in if you all get along.
