Pros

I like my co-workers. People are friendly. I feel that my supervisor advocates for me. Paid Time Off and other benefits are generous.

Cons

Every two years or so our basic philosophy and work procedures change.

Advice to Management

Stop reinventing the wheel and stick with what works.

I worked at MetLife full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent training program for learning how to sell financial products
Better than average comp plan for entry level sales agent
    Good product set to offer

    Cons

Comp plan gets tough after initial period. You have to have a pipeline.

Commission based salary may be difficult for some people

    Advice to Management

Have a better program for developing sales leaders and retaining talent. The best sales people often leave and the managers are picked from those that stay around the longest and don't always earn it.
