Pros

There is always food around

Cons

This company has no understanding of what a work life balance is. They are discriminatory to women. They expect you to work on vacation and if you do not they will take action on you no matter how hard you work or how much you wish to strive to succeed with them. They set goals and then when you ask to complete those goal (classes/training) they will tell you that there is no time for that. After they tell you there is no time, they tell you you did not meet the goal and do not work up to their expectation. They are on the lower end of the pay scale in the area and unless you are a "Yes man" or an older male VP you will not get very far in this company. **NOTE: They will write a reviews on sites to up their ratings if they see someone write a negative review about them. **

Pros

The atmosphere and people who are a part of the company are amazing. They truly care about you and your family. You are just not a number at Mohawk. People care about you

Cons

It's difficult to name some because my tenure was nothing but a great time. My only comment would be to make sure the workload is spread evenly among teams.

Pros

CEO is extremely kind, considerate, and is committed to a healthy culture for all employees. Flexible hybrid schedule and good amount of earned/paid time off. Medical, dental, and vision coverage available as well as identity theft recovery and legal resources. “Extras” like health and wellness rewards program, access to mental health professionals and resources, peer to peer recognition program, etc. Believes in promoting from within and maintaining compassionate leadership. No layoffs is the company’s goal. Great Place to Work certification and a committee focused on keeping a strong, healthy culture. Committed to their core values. For the 30th anniversary, employees were taken on a company-wide trip and paid for airfare, accommodations, and meals. This is the best company I have worked for in my 20+ years of office jobs.

Cons

For those looking to be fully remote, there is an in-office policy depending on your distance from your designated branch. I do not consider this to be a con, but those that never want to see the inside of an office may see it as a con. Ebbs and flows depending on global shipping trends. This may mean required overtime on occasion. Salary may not be as competitive as other companies, but you are not treated like a number here.
