Pros

Lot's of pro's. The low level employees are all great people for example (but we're not listened to). They bring in cake and carbs for everything.

Cons

You name it. How much space do I have to write here? For starters our opinions are invalid on everything - EVERY SINGLE THING! Finally I've just stopped caring like most people and gave up trying. They like employee apathy at MovieTickets then they don't have to pay you well and can justify it to themselves as if you most of all shouldn't have it. They do this as they buy themselves lavish cars and shoes of course. Look, I'm not the perfect employee but I have tried to help them and be a part of the solution but I've been shut down and shut out every time and given simple task work. Oh and don't bother asking for a raise because they've got the managers trained to plead poverty and shuffle your request around until you give up asking. Even though I know for a fact they have enough money in the books.

Pros

Casual work environment with flexible hours. Very open to the need to balance work and family. CEO cares about employees. Small enough company that there are no politics. Everyone has access to the CEO. No place is 100% perfect but it is pretty darn good here and if employees don't recognize that - too bad for them - go someplace else and see how good you have it. Great 401K and very good benefits.

Cons

Everyone has access to CEO and they expect him to solve their problems. Employees need to learn how to talk to each other and work as a team with one common goal and set personal goals aside.

Pros

MoiveTickets.com was a startup with potential.I worked there about 3 years around 2010. The CTO Shane was a very skilled developer along with a great team of developers and some great people.

Cons

The overall business of movietickets is challenging to succeed in especially when going up against giants like Fandango.
