Pros
Historically great people to work with. Before the takeover by GCI in 2020, Nasstar was a great place to work with a great culture. Sometimes things were tough, but because of the people around you it was okay. The general culture around the place was fantastic. Some of those members of staff are still there, so some of that will still remain.
Cons
New owners/management have brought a bad culture with them. Now, everything is about revenue, not about customer satisfaction. I have heard from numerous people (employees and clients alike) about the aggressive and rude behaviour of members of the new senior team from GCI. There were 50+ redundancies in April, caused by the takeover, and they were handled extremely poorly and very coldly by management. Not a good start to the new life under GCI, would recommend avoiding if you like a good work life balance and want to be respected by management.
