Nielsen is a good company to work for, especially if you're single.

    Pros

The work is based from home. You're able to adjust schedule around personal appointments. Compensation is salary + overtime, with full benefits from day one of employment. They provide a company car, company laptop, & company phone.

    Cons

Working non-traditional hours due to market needs makes it difficult to establish a set personal schedule. You have to work around other people's schedules requiring many nights & weekends that cut into family time. There is limited room for advancement.

    Pros

Nice people who believe in their work

    Cons

Constant transformation and change past 2 years (sold half of itself to private equity, and the remaining half continues to be profitable but in a new twist is about to be sold to a different private equity and no longer be a public company)
