I worked at Palms Casino Resort full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Once learned, all the systems and procedures needed to effectively handle day-to-day restaurant ops are in place. Ordering, supplier management, in-house transfers, player club management, reporting, cash handling, etc. are all well defined and effective. Once you learn how Station operates, it is easy to move focus to more critical or ancillary responsibilities.

    Cons

Some legacy software systems for ordering are old, but understandably difficult to change considering the scale of the whole company. Powerful analytics tools such as Ctuit are available, but training on how to leverage wasn't not available at the time.
