From day one I was met with extreme prejudice and judgment as an African American in the predominantly Indian culture. I heard comments directed toward myself on day one to try to undermine my skillsets and abilities that I did not hear about anyone else. My manager would intentionally talk about me in a negative light from day one to teammates causing them to question my capabilities. I was given 3 weeks from when I was brought on with no direction and unrealistic expectation before I was told I was now "obsolete from the company" and let go less than a month after I started. The only thing I was told while being let go was "I was too expensive", ironically, I took a paycut to accept the role as this was the lowest paid position I had ever had for this type of role. Nightmare situation.
