Thank you for taking the time to provide candid feedback and advice. I agree that PickTrace's vision to digitize agriculture is exceptionally meaningful, and that the opportunity to positively impact our user, product, business, and agricultural industry is one of the most exciting things about working here. I do feel confident that for however long you were with us, you were able to positively influence those areas too.
Your comments on talent & job expectations are well noted. I am proud of the strong caliber of talent we have at PickTrace, including that of departed team members such as yourself, so I regret that some haven't always felt aligned to the job-level. We are consistently working to improve how we manage, inspire, and empower our talent. With every Developmental Assessment cycle, we have gathered feedback and promptly updated our role scorecards, our review process, and our leveling guide. Upward feedback about team managers is also immensely helpful to us, and I take it seriously when I assess & coach the managers in our business. So if you have more specifics to add on any of these areas or more, please feel comfortable to reach out to me to candidly discuss further - that would truly improve our ability to support and nurture our team as you suggested.
On the point of work-life balance, this is something I understand and appreciate your feedback on as well. I know that the Apple & Cherry harvest season pushes this past 2-3 quarters have been a lot of work, and I am so grateful to everyone for their commitment and contribution. Coming out of this push, we've ramped up our Wellness program, added more regular meet-ups/offsites for team bonding, planned office closures for extra 3-day weekends, and added open headcount to help share workload. I am excited for these improvements to bear fruit. It's because of honest feedback like yours that we are able to respond and make PickTrace a better organization for our amazing team, so thank you again for your advice.
Best,
Joel
