I worked at Porter & Chester Institute for more than 8 years

    Pros

If you care about helping students succeed and can ignore management it is a great place to be.

    Cons

Everything else: -Long hours without thanks -Low pay with no reviews -A CEO who doesn't have a clue about education -Management imported from all of the schools that failed -No matching on 401K -Terrible health plan -Training and professional development a low priority -No opportunity for advancement

I have been working at Porter & Chester Institute full-time

    Pros

Porter and Chester is highly respected in the CT and MA markets. We provide highly skilled training to our students in all of the programs that we offer. It is a privilege to be part of their success everyday. Porter and Chester has afforded me opportunities in my professional growth, that I feel I would not have learned or been exposed to at another company or school. They truly care about their employees.

    Cons

I cannot think of any cons at this time.

I worked at Porter & Chester Institute full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

None, not one good thing about this Institution.

    Cons

They have no morals. It’s all about the Benjamins. Enrolled students that can’t even read or write English. Under paid, over worked, let’s not even discuss the harassment issues they possess. Had not received a raise in my 7 years and was told if I couldn’t afford to work there, go someplace else They don’t care about students
