Pros

The best reason to work at this facility is the other therapists, they are absolutely incredible people to work with. The company offers decent benefits with very good PTO and competitive pay. It is a great place to learn a lot due to the complex caseload.

Cons

The productivity expectation is 85%, which is doable most days except it does not allow for collaboration with therapy team members for better patient care. There is a very high turn over rate for therapists at this facility with 1-2 years being the maximum length of time most therapists stay. No paid holidays unless you use your PTO. There is very little room for career growth.

Pros

Good benefits when I started; co-workers were great; easy commuter documentation; reimbursement for license and professional fees; pay was competitive

Cons

Prostep will be sold or taken over by another rehab company in March 2015; the company has been rapid decline in the last 2 years with more focus on productivity and micromanaging every minute with residents; it's a daily focus; poor communication within the facility which seems to be a diliberate act as to keep residents from being discharged; and poor communication within the company. Benefits were good but eventually they started rapidly eroding
