Pros

• Dress code is listed as business casual, but in reality, leggings and comfortable attire are the norm. • Option to choose between a lower hourly rate with benefits or a higher rate without.

Cons

• The job functions more like a high-volume call center, with expectations of 80–120 calls per day. • Extremely high turnover. • Training expectations and job realities are not clearly communicated during hiring. • PTO accrues very slowly—just 1 hour per 40-hour week. • If you don’t have PTO, time-off requests are denied. • No overtime pay—even if you’re stuck on a call past your scheduled time, pay is capped at 40 hours. • Poor communication from management makes it hard to get clear answers or support. • Health Insurance is $300 a paycheck, $600 a month. • Bi-Monthly Paychecks, on the 15th and 30th.

Pros

Military personnel you work with are competent

Cons

Reef Systems is hands off to the point of serious incompetence at almost all levels. This incompetence mostly involves low communication with contractors and next to none with contracting bases, but at extremes, includes direction to employees to disregard formal DoD procedures. Might be good for seasoned contractors who know what's normal and what's not, but if you don't know what handling of government property is acceptable and what isn't, following Reef's instructions could leave you legally liable.
