Thank you very much for taking the time to share your insights and thoughts. We are very proud that Jack Roush’s entrepreneurial spirit is still very much a part of the culture at Roush. We encourage employees at every level to use drive and creativity to resolve challenges. We have always been committed to recognizing and rewarding people who are determined, resourceful, and are willing to take a calculated risk. To your “Con” about Roush being dependent on the US auto industry, we would counter that the very entrepreneurial spirit you recognized and complimented has enabled us to successfully venture into other markets, including aerospace, defense and the theme park industry. Our leadership recognized that the automotive industry is cyclical and very susceptible to economic pressures and has strongly advocated for market diversification. Eyebrows were raised when we took a calculated risk and opened a facility in Orlando to support theme park development, but that venture has been extremely successful and we recently opened a second facility to support growth in that market. Again, we thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. Good luck in your new endeavors, and stay tuned for more exciting news from Roush.

Pros
A lot of variety in the work, often very interesting projects that demand multi-disciplinary expertise since every customer has unique projects they come to Roush with. There's not a lot of red tape at this company, if you work hard and are hands on with your work, you can get great satisfaction out of your work here.
Cons
No one is going to hold your hand here, you need to work hard which can affect your work/life balance if that's important to you.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your thoughts. Employee feedback is a critical part of our continuous efforts to create a positive work environment. Our first reaction when we read your comments was "Wow - what a great description of our culture!" We do give our employees a lot of runway and encourage them to push the envelope of what can be done. Moving rapidly from idea to engineered solution does take hard work, but we hope you find the process and end result as exhilarating as we do. Efficient, accessible storage is always a challenge - the work we do requires lots of parts and lots of equipment but we appreciate and understand your comment, and we are exploring automation and other tools to make your job easier.
