Pros

The work-life balance is nice, if you needed to work from home because of a sick child you could.

Cons

No loyalty to employees, they let people go and raise billing rates, no raises, no 401(k) match, company is sinking quickly

Pros

Co-workers are very friendly. Its nice to be able to chat with them about anything and I consider all my coworkers as friends. Everyone seems to work very well together, not very often that I see arguments or conflicts. The work environment is laid back. If someone needs to leave early for an appointment or family matter, SSM is very flexible and allows the person to leave. Usually SSM receives a lot of work, so it keeps the workplace busy and profitable. Recently began to offer a 401k (2% of yearly salary). They try to keep up with the most up to date computer programs, software, and technology. Office space/work area for each employee is enormous .

Cons

I think sometimes the company is too worried about making a lot of money and in turn they tend to ignore some minor complaints by their employees. I don't really interact with upper management too often, so I don't know them very well. As a result, its hard to say what their motives are for certain circumstances. There are yearly reviews, but not yearly salary increases. (Not quite sure how you get a raise here) No Christmas bonuses.

Pros

Flexible schedule - if I need to work from home, no problem. Get my hours in and canbolt if I want to. Wind up being good friends with a lot of people you work with. Very close knit

Cons

Pay is low, no raises or bonuses or even reviews...
