    Pros

    Great pay, easy to move up, recognition and appreciation happen daily, bonuses and lots of perks.

    Cons

    Not many, but the learning curve is steep. If you can't hack it in 90 days you're gone. Communications between the hospital and any positions not in clinic is rough.

    Disaster leadership, employees absorb consequences and are scapegoated

    Pros

    I think it's a little better if you're not in research, and reasonable medical benefits. And Jim Hendricks is no longer there.

    Cons

    Staff bear the brunt and consequences of systemic weaknesses, blaming and scapegoating from leadership, poor technology rollouts, little support, underfunded research resources, research staff marginalized, poorly managed funds. Low salaries for research staff although the constant messaging is how grateful staff should be for what they get. Contracts management is a disaster, staff have way too much work to do and this affects research directly, as well as research staff being blamed for contract and budgetary issues and delays.
