Pros
Work at Imageworks is stable--even during the strikes I felt that my job was as protected as it could be. Being under the Sony Pictures umbrella provides a lot of comfort. Benefits are top-notch, too,
Cons
The cost of stability is pay: not a lot of room to move up, not a lot of room in negotiation (unless you're already a Supervisor or have 10+ years in the industry), and high turnover if you're an artist.
