Pros
Monday to Friday (1 in 3 Saturdays very unsociable hours) Bonus paid 3x a year for stock take
Cons
Grandfathered management that aren't on shop floor majority of the time Favouritism when it comes to certain job roles/benefits Pay will only go up when minimum wage does (because they have to) Pay for the same job is different between branches depending on where you work despite doing the same job Health and safety mad but for all the wrong things Lots of complaining from staff but nothing seems to change Some do drastically less work than others despite being paid the same or more Special treatment for those that have been there a long time or are in the good books Technology is very dated and not up to par with most modern working warehouses Cameras everywhere and management will sit and watch them to catch people out on breaks etc when they should be used to review accidents/unsafe working procedures/goods in/out accuracy Lowest paid workers pretty much made to "get on with it" regarding goods in and out, very little manager input happens day to day, you will be trained by someone who has been there a while and has good knowledge in most departments but no authority
