Pros
You get experience in recruiting.
Cons
SEP will manipulate you into thinking you will never find another company as good as them and it couldn’t be further from the truth. You are micromanaged throughout your entire day. You receive feedback from one manager and get the complete opposite feedback from another as there is little to no consistency and communication between offices. You are overworked almost triple and instead of raises/bonuses/incentives, you get asked what else you want to work on. They’ve laid off people that have been with the company for multiple years simply because “they get paid too much”. They hire entry level so they can justify keeping you at a low salary. They have deleted negative comments on Glassdoor in the past to protect their reputation and the CEO Ryan King even made “jokes” about them in a company-wide meeting. If you give feedback to the company or managers you work with, they tell you “thats just how we work here”. You work a mandatory 2 hours of overtime each week and it is frowned upon if you leave at 5:30pm. I have NEVER left negative reviews for ANY other job I’ve had. But I want to warn others - do not fall for what they try to sell you in interviews. You will be overworked, underpaid, and not respected as an employee.
