Good processes, collaboration across teams and projects. Great work is produced.

Cons

Roles graded 5/6 at the Opera House are managing people, budgets and complex projects. These in other government roles that are advertised are graded 9/10. This is all public knowledge. More the ability to have a role regraded is not easy, you vs an entire system - it is why bands exist. You need to really think about what working here will cost you - you will be worked hard, you will not get overtime (only TOIL), you won't get career progression (unless someone leaves, there's a restructure, and budgets are so tight you won't get real training and development opportunities. It is pretty tough personally just to make it through a festival, or even a year.
