Tech Guardian Response
8yThis person worked for us for 3 days and was terminated. Apparently he is disgruntled and needs to vent. Yes, we made a mistake on his final paycheck, and immediately corrected it after the weekend. We voluntarily paid him extra to right our wrong- and learned from our mistake.
My employees are my most valuable asset. We give them opportunities to advance their career through weekly paid training time and certification reimbursement. We have a significant bonus program to reward performance. It is true that our technicians rarely stay longer than three years, but we are excited for them when they learn a ton with us and are offered better opportunities. Techs who have “graduated” from JR-Tech have left on great terms, and we consider it an honor to have helped them secure a solid career. Education is our first core value, and it shows! Unfortunately, headhunters in our area know that we train the best techs!
If you’re deciding whether to work for JR-Tech or the IT Department of a company, consider this:
JR-Tech Service Department:
• Invests in our techs because they are an asset
• Technicians are meeting new challenges every day
• Technicians are always learning and deploying new technologies
Company IT Department:
• IT is a liability (cost) to be managed and reduced
• Techs often find themselves fixing the same mundane issues
• Their skill-set can stagnate on the same technology
Call us, we’re always looking for amazing technicians!
