Stable, well run company - Anonymous employee Tecplot Employee Review

Great place to work. Great technical product in an interesting niche. Original founders in place.. though nearing retirement.

Bit small and not a ton of growth. But overall hard to find many negatives. Is on the eastside too.

Everyone at Tecplot is smart, driven and helpful. There is a sense of community and common purpose as people collaborate on a task, chat in the hallway or lunch room or group together to go on an outing. The work-life balance allows everyone to work hard while they are at work and be able to recharge when they are not. There is a lot of flexibility. The work is challenging - you have to consider stability, performance and scalability across multiple platforms - but it is rewarding to see what customers in aerospace and other industries and academia are doing with the products.

The company is small and needs a few more developers who are motivated to make great products. There are so many cool things to do but not enough people to do them.
