Able to access pay early via Stream. Tips were okay, but for the amount of covers we were taking it should have been more.
Cons
Company culture was not very nice, it wasn’t uncommon for area managers/senior management to be nasty about employees. Frequently worked 10+ hours over contracted hours with no overtime and I wasn’t the only one. Sales & reservations team frequently overbooked restaurants so this meant the whole team on-site were incredibly overworked and unable to provide good standards of service but then area management would blame the on-site team for poor quality of service! Senior management then became very stressed and would take it out on junior management and other employees. Extremely high staff turnover (including managers FOH and BOH) - the highest I have seen in any hospitality job I have ever worked. This meant we were constantly understaffed. New hires were also not given the opportunity to be trained adequately due to how busy and understaffed we were and were chucked straight into the deep end - which obviously meant they would get overwhelmed and quit, thus perpetuating the cycle! If you are actually from a fine-dining background I would avoid this place, it is a large conglomerate chain masquerading as something it is not, if you value your craft and ability to provide a good guest experience then this is not the place for you.
