I worked at Tiffany & Co. full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Extensive availability of online training resources. Safe, comfortable, and productive work environment. Friendly, passionate co-workers. Work doesn't follow you home. Purchasing discounts.

    Cons

Some lack of communication between HR personnel post-hire; unanswered emails chains, even when facilitated by a manager. Could provide pathways to retain seasonal hires and fill positions in other departments/locations. Operations folks were seemingly short-timers or lifers.

    Advice to Management

Keep investing in safety. Give people on the ground the resources they need to get the job done.

I have been working at Tiffany & Co. full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    No pros, it's a farce.

    Cons

Everything in this company is a farce.

    Advice to Management

Pay more to their employees, for God sakes, we are working with diamonds and with "luxury jewerly" there's no way a setter make a decent amount in this company, well, if you suck to the micromanagement you will but that's about it. Once a year they evaluate you, and will give you pennies, it should be a embarrassment for them. Shame, shame, shame. Even polishers will make more than a setter. They constantly change setting...

I have been working at Tiffany & Co. full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Potential commission and bonuses Employee discounts

    Cons

Commission depends Of the percentage of the goal you sell each month, goals are high and without a client base most months very difficult to reach, so you only make 1% which is barely anything. If you leave for training, vacation, sick leave the goal doesn’t get adjusted (it used to and l was hired with term) Let’s say you have a great month and get paid 3% for your sales a month, and something big you sold it’s being...

    Advice to Management

Bring back goal adjustments If there’s an exchange next month (not even exchange) just charge back the difference, so employees have an income every month
