Cons
Trada may have had potential at one point or another, but that time has come and gone. It is simply not "the next BIG thing" out of Boulder.
I would agree, this startup is different; most companies at this stage understand that it is the people that are going to make or break it, and would do anything to keep the quality happy. However, there is palpable negative energy that hangs like a cloud in the office; employees complaining to employees, people crying (literally), executives churning like butter, and talented people generally feeling devalued and mistreated.
Leadership will tell you that they are extremely transparent, but I found company meetings to be vague and misleading. I am not sure actual P&L or Income Statements were ever disclosed at these meetings, making difficult to understand how the company is ACTUALLY doing, and if the options you stuck it out for will ever be worth anything.
Frequently, we were told the company was headed in one direction, only to find out that was not the case. If you want an example, look at the press release around their last round of funding and see if any of those promises came true.
Anyhow, I met some great people there, and most have moved on.
