    Group work is the way forward.very empowering for clients

    Cons

    Omg where do I start. Don't care about the staff or clients Short staffed all the time. More about stats then clients welfare. The worst agency I have ever had the mispleasure to work for and I been a drugs worker for over ten years. Majority of recovery workers have the passion ,but turning point is taking the passion away from them. To high caseloads to manage safely. I would never ever work for this people again. Don't invest in workers ,no training ,don't invest in NVQ for staff

    Pros

    - Great people - Great environment for an entry level system administrator to get experience and be challenged

    Cons

    - No I.T budget - Any proactive environmental change that requires investment will require significant advocacy on your part

    I have been working at Turning Point full-time

    Pros

    Some nice people and colleagues.

    Cons

    Completely understaffed at all levels except senior managment, of which there are far too many incompetent and well paid while operational staff struggle with huge workloads. Strange and misguided decisions about redundancies in late 2016 have not helped. HR function barely works; very little effective support from HR at any level of the organisation.
