Pros

There are very few pros to working for this firm. The only thing that made my time there worth while was the people I was interning with. Incredibly small firm, one of 7 employees.

Cons

Such a small, unprofessional work environment and firm. I was completely mislead on what the firm did as well as my role there. My main duties was making cold calls in a dark window-less office. Yes, I learned how to cold call but did not learn much else.

Pros

The management and other interns were really nice. There was a good vibe in the office and everyone was treated with respect. It was a really hands on experience where I learned a lot. I was able to get a client on TV and got to go to the station with them. (so cool!) I looked forward to going in every day. They have a candy jar which I thought was kind of cool.

Cons

Building databases was not fun, but I understand why we need them. The air conditioner made it super cold in the office. Had to wear a sweater in middle of summer.

Pros

My internship this past summer at Two Sheps That Pass was full of hands-on, tangible experiences. Working in the entertainment industry that is New York, this internship was extremely fast-paced with constant new clients on the brink of inquiry for the PR/Marketing skills offered at this agency. 9/10 days I entered the office, there was a new client to brainstorm or a new pitch to draft. The confidence Vera as well as other members of the Two Sheps Agency relay in their interns is extremely empowering. This internship has been a great experience that has challenged myself, my communications abilities/writing and has taught me about working in the entertainment industry.

Cons

Where some days were more busy than others, I can only count on a hand the number of days where I was not very productive. There were days that were spent sending a lot of media outreach emails including follow-ups and pithes, but that is a part of interning in the entertainment industry.
