Pros
The best reasons to work for the US Air Force are the great benefits (full medical, dental and vision), paid time off (30 days) and other compensation. You also get nice discounts at a lot of merchants in Northern Virginia. The new GI Bill should also be a very nice benefit.
Cons
You have to make frequent moves to different parts of the county. You have less personal freedom than a "civilian".
