Pros
-The people here are incredibly talented and good at what they do. They're generally optimistic and love to share knowledge. -The company culture is generally positive overall and they offer a lot of flexibility and vacation as well as fun events. -There's a pretty steep learning curve and a lot to be learned about both marine industry standards as well as all the science and wizardry behind optical electronics in niche environments - There's currently a decent internal push toward standardization of best practices and generally if you ask, leadership is fairly transparent about the company's direction, outlook and work in the pipeline. Workflows also continue to become more streamlined as tools for task management and prioritization get fleshed out -Plenty of work to go around and a decent looking sales pipeline. The company and teams across the board are poised for some great successes IMO
Cons
-It is still a relatively young company with a fair bit of growing pains to endure in terms of overall organization and process management, but it's getting better with management keeping a close eye on newly adopted strategies. Great if you like that sort of challenge and to have your -Depending on your role, you may have to put in some extra time here or there but it's generally made up for in the extra vacation perks so long as you make the time for yourself to use it -Management is fairly young, which could be seen as a positive or a negative depending on your own expectations
