Pros
-Free Food -Central Lahore location -Helpful colleagues -Market competitive package -Everything looks good from outside
Cons
Where should I start? -Legacy old technologies in almost all teams whether Web, Frontend or Backend teams (everyone inside i2c would agree) -No areas for growth (tech wise) once you've learned most of the fundamentals -Large teams where repetitive tasks are assigned whether you're junior or senior -ZERO work life balance, work is expected day and night, no consideration for employees family life etc. -Management is completely non technical, they don't understand the scale of the task they assign and expect it done within very urgent (impossible) deadlines. -ADVISE: -- For all fresh graduates/ those early in career, if you want to learn skills that will boost your career in the long term, don't come to i2c, you will waste important years of your life in legacy systems that have no market value other than i2c, regardless of team -- If you are out of opportunities and have no other opportunity, take the job, but don't waste much time here. --HR AND MANAGEMENT DO NOT CARE IF YOU WANT TO ADVANCE YOUR CAREER OUTLOOK, they don't understand the competitive nature of the tech industry and will fool you into thinking i2c is at the pinnacle of tech during the interviews. Reality is very different to what you see outside.
