    The residents are the best thing about working with Enlivant!

    Cons

    This company does not care about its employees from the top down to the community level. This year they simply got rid of some great leaders because they disagreed with them on bonuses and employee assessments. If you have any kind of heart this is not the company for you. They will not allow you to be an advocate for the residents or fellow employees. Their shoe string budgets for the residents who pay on average...

    The company offers unlimited vacation

    Cons

    The best way to get ahead is to be a young male. Second best way to get ahead is to be a cute “ditzy” gal. Intelligence, experience, integrity, skillful, caring, compassion, all mean nothing.

    Advice to Management

    If you want to be the most respected in the industry, you have to hire good people and keep good people. Avoid the arrogant, inappropriate, short tempered, and just plain stupid!

    I have been working at Enlivant full-time for more than 6 years

    Pros

    Positive work environment where regional managers do not micro-manage us. We now have more flexibility in our work day and are empowered to build relationships in the local community to benefit our buildings. The time off policy is awesome. (I have never been denied a request for time off.) It makes me more dedicated/work even harder knowing upper management and the company as a whole care about us.

    Cons

    I’m always fearful of new regional managers coming in and bombarding us with conference call after useless conference call like back in the old days of ALC. Please don’t let this happen ever again because it eats up valuable work time & benefits no one.

    Advice to Management

    Keep on doing what you are doing. You have made great strides to improve the company. Keep it up.

    Absolutely... NOTHING! Unless you enjoy watching elder abuse .

    Cons

    Expect to work many hours for free. Bullying. Hostile work environment. No support from management.

    Advice to Management

    Open your eyes. I dont know how you can sleep at night. You wont last and I hope Sabra terminates your contract.

    Everything else, not paying bills so that we would have to scramble to find vendors WILLING to do work for us.

    I used to love this company- until January. We had 5 regional and community leaders terminated in that time frame. I was expected to attend 40 outside referral meetings a month, make 125 sales calls, in addition to the zoom calls daily- one week I had 21! It wasn't doable. When I asked for help, I was denied.     Everything but the residents! Management team is terrible. Gossip, bullying and harassment from caregivers on up. If they don’t like you they put a target on your back and make it impossible to do your job. So many people were fired or had to quit due to this happening to them. Their turn over rate is 150%!     COO seems innovative.. but I wish the innovation would happen quicker. Many of the technical aspects of my job could be improved immensely with better, more integrated, technology.
