The latest conversations about Consulting India
I was taking interview today for one of the candidate for my project. That guy already has 4 offers (220% hike) but he wanted to join nagarro because as per him opening in nagarro is more align to his skill set. (Asking for 250 %) I rejected him without any question. Reason I know he will be able to ans each and every ques and he might be a good fit for this opening but I know he will not join this company. (40 days left for his notice period) Not sure if I was right but it was worth it.
Have received an offer from Gartner of 72 + 8 (Fixed + Variable) LPA in INR India Location. This is like dream was just waiting for me to become true at this early stage of my life ....... 😀😀 Role - Business Financials SME. I won't ask in hand calculations here .... I am just happy to share this news.

If you enjoy working independently, can self manage/like to figure things out on your own, and are flexible, this is a great part time gig! (I am working full time hours mostly, which means there is also overtime pay.) The pay is actually good for the very minimal skill set required. I am not micromanaged, and have a good working relationship with my coordinator in AZ. There is reimbursement for mileage and drive time, as well as ink/paper for home printing. The job also provides a great opportunity to network in the medical communities to which you travel if you are searching for a full time, permanent position. It is definitely preferable to drawing unemployment!
Wear and tear on personal vehicle, no benefits, schedule is subject to change on a daily basis, thus it is difficult to project your personal finances. (You are advised of this before accepting the job, however.) Communication is at times an issue, as the call center in AZ if apparently very busy, as well as in a different time zone, however there is an emergency line if all else fails. It is unclear as to the actual length of employment/projects, although you are given a vague idea in terms of weeks when hired. It is scary to think you will suddenly have no more work without any warning...3
