Pros
Flexible schedule, decent people to work with, good pay and an opportunity to meet others in the profession.

Pros
Pay is okay if you are super desperate for a job while looking for a "real" job. Opportunity to network while you are traveling to various sites & look for a reliable job.
Cons
Extremely disorganized, poor communication between departments in AZ. Sent to sites for medical record retrieval only to be sent home multiple times due to lack of scheduling updates, poor or lack of communication with site by scheduling department. You are expected to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early, dressed professionally, only to be told it was rescheduled, or the site is not prepared for you to enter their EMR system due to lack of credentialing information from scheduling department. You are expected to represent ECS professionally, but they do not hold up their end and you will end up apologizing for their short comings constantly. It appears that there is no accountability in the main office, so nothing ever improves in terms of field techs being jerked around/driving for hours to be sent home. (You are only paid for two hours each time this happens which in no way covers wear and tear on your vehicle or the time you spent to make a professional appearance.) Extremely embarrassing and humiliating if you are accustom to a professional work situation.
