I worked at Enterprise Holdings full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Promotes from within, career growth, great health benefits, company car once you become manager

    Cons

Tough work life balance once you become part of management team.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people per store to not burn out your employees (specifically the branch managers)

I worked at Enterprise Holdings full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Fancy Title Experience 55% off on rentals Connections with bodyshops, dealerships and service companies Area events paid for every quarter

    Cons

Long hours (12 hour days, 6 days a week) Underpaid (base + commission which is dependent on rental occupancy and customer satisfaction) Abused and pressured by upper management Abused by customers and cannot say anything as you need them to be "completely satisfied" so you would do anything for that. Litreally anything. Promotion based on sales and customer satisfaction scores Always pushing to sell additional... insurance to customers which is a scam Not enough cars at branch locations. So branch personnel is the one facing an issue. Over promising and under delivering Applying to headoffice would mean your promotability in the the future would decline

I have been working at Enterprise Holdings full-time for more than a year

    Pros

It has all it's benefits like medical, dental, 401k, etc. You work 40 hrs every week no matter if its slow.

    Cons

Managers treat you like sh*t. . . We are the last line of the fence. The managers only cares about the customers and not the employees. The pay is not all that great we should be getting paid $15/hr but instead they start you off at $11.50/hr. Been here for 2 years and I get paid $11.50/hr.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees better and see how this business can grow.

I have been working at Enterprise Holdings full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Easygoing managers, schedule flexibility, managers give you authority to make things right for the customer.

    Cons

Pay is low, it’s hard to be promoted without a bachelors degree, ridiculous salary caps.

    Advice to Management

Remove the ridiculous salary cap. There are too many stellar employees who haven’t received a raise in years. Use work experience or consider associates degree holders for promotions. Your burning out too many bachelors degree people who can work less hours for much more money.
