RecommendsPositive OutlookI have been working at Enzen full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
I am with Enzen for the last four years. I am immensely happy with the work atmosphere, culture, peer enthusiasm and support from Senior Management. Management gives freedom to the employees to operate in their own methods and ensure results. Management does not believe in fault finding in its employees. Even when an employee falters, management supports the employee if the motives are good. I have worked with Government bodies & Multinational Giants. In my 27 years of service, I cherish my association with Enzen and rate this association as the best. Enzen is very focused and motivated organisation. Enzen is expanding globally providing great opportunities to the deserved. Growth and salaries are at par with the industry. On week ends, I eagerly await for Monday to resume office. Long live Enzen... Cheers Enzenites...
Cons
Like anywhere else, getting leaves is difficult. We will have such packed schedules that we become hesitant to seek leave. Yet, at times of difficulties, management provides leave and support to the employee to recover. Some times the company delay reimbursement of expenses.

"Unethical and shameful business practices"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI have been working at Enzen full-time for more than 3 years
Pros
The company is not having a clear vision of the future expansion and growth areas. They are just not able to make the mark in the energy business.
Cons
I think the company struggles from accepting the fact that their business plans don't get successful when implemented in real business scenarios. The management is just not able to crack the secret of making a sustainable business segment. Moreover the senior management is filled with incompetent sycophants whose only chance of survival is to simply agree with what top bosses say. They don't have the spine to speak up for what is right and blindly have to follow the orders whether good or bad.
Continue readingMany thanks for your comments. As an existing and current member I would encourage you to speak to your manager and or people and culture and raise your concerns - we are unable to support you if you do not open up to us. To be successful we should be working together and looking to find solutions together rather than finding faults and criticising. I am fully aware that a response alone does not fix an issue, and I see no purpose in covering up issues. In fact in all my interviews, the candidates will confirm about how candid I am about our challenges and the improvements required. All my responses are a true and accurate reflection of work being undertaken, but I acknowledge that I am based in the UK and that policies and practices in other geographies may vary currently although we are working towards a consistent approach.

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookI have been working at Enzen full-time for more than 5 years
Pros
Young company. CEO is committed & Many people are decent Create Utility Billing on server-side( 4 million customers) and Utility billing on PDA(12 Million Customers)
Cons
On the software side, less number of knowledge people at responsible positions. Software senior management is more comfortable with junior people due to lack of experience. Creates tensions and imbalance in work & personal life for a prolonged period. Not grooming junior technical people.

Negative OutlookI have been working at Enzen full-time for more than a year
Pros
Good salaries on offer. Flexible/remote working
Cons
Worst Senior Management I’ve experienced UK CEO clueless, focused on cost cutting rather than developing the business. Really weird culture within the organisation. Refuse to pay supply chain on time. Currently in various legal battles, some SME’s have gone under because of this. Tender for work but never seem to win anything.

"Unprofessional UK senior management team"

Doesn't RecommendNegative OutlookI worked at Enzen full-time
Pros
There is a nice staff canteen which supplies a free lunch - this is good if you like curry everyday.
Cons
Expect in excess of a 40 hour week. No direction given from senior management. Everything the UK want to do is over ruled by India. Hard to make any progress. Everyone is dispensable. Employees are treated as a resource and not as people.

Many thanks for your comments, it is disappointing to hear that you have had a negative experience at Enzen. As a consultancy hours can vary, but we do advocate flexible working and where employees are required to work additional hours or ad-hoc weekends for client requirements, we do operate a TOIL system. As a small company which has grown very quickly and expanded globally, we have naturally gone through teething issues. There was initially a strong influence from India, but over the last few years we have seen the corporate functions in our other geographies grow and new experts join the business which is resulting in progress both in respected geographies and globally. Our people are at the heart of what we do, and recent developments in terms of our brand, brand values, policies and procedures reflect this.

Pros
People throughout Enzen care. Senior management is very approachable and encouraging towards initiatives. There is huge ambition to grow Enzen and this allows for different areas to flourish, for new opportunities to open up, while strengthening the core.
Cons
No cons really, only opportunities!

Doesn't RecommendPositive OutlookI have been working at Enzen full-time for more than a year
Pros
- Good exposure to the energy and utilities market - Lot of areas to learn and contribute - Talented and driven co-workers and architects - A few great leaders - Some good programmes and an impressive pipeline - Improving HR function
Cons
- There is a mid-level vacuum - The senior management/leadership team is ineffective - Rampant nepotism - The company is run by some seriously committed individuals and the rest simply piggyback on their good work

Many thanks for your comments, we appreciate all and any feedback. With respect to your cons, we are actively working to address the current structure and will be launching a new talent management scheme this financial year which should address the vaccum, and encourage more efficient and effective way of working in addition to providing clarity and a clear career path for all employees. The last year has seen a transition in terms of our leadership team, and in the UK in particular we have a number of fresh new leaders, who will change the dynamic of how we operate going forward.

Pros
Lots of support from senior management, very open door policy. Rapidly maturing governance and employee engagement program Able to work on loads of exciting projects in utilities space Good salary and increasing benefits packages
Cons
Expected to work hard and travel, but this is a consultancy. Hasn't interrupted my work life balance so far. Can be challenging to engage with multi-cultural teams. If you find that sort of thing difficult.

Doesn't RecommendNeutral OutlookI have been working at Enzen full-time for less than a year
Pros
- Very easy to get hired as they are badly looking for people
Cons
- Very adverse culture. I think they are employing 99 % indian. There is Asian bias - Very unsuitable for British workforce - Managers are very rude and the senior management (if we can call them like that) is very short sighted and donot know how to behave - Attrition is very high. Nobody stay in the company for more than one year - Culture is a of shouting, asking you to stay late to work even-though there is no work - Delays salary. They are now holding salary for a week and then paying it. I think its illegal too
