I have been working at Eurest full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

So many good people work for Eurest. The company resources that Compass Group provides is amazing.

    Cons

Sometimes our clients can be over demanding without considering the big picture of their request.

    Advice to Management

The company keeps growing but District/Region managers are not added to distribute the support to the teams in the field.

I have been working at Eurest full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I love the M-F work week. I also feel that the benefits are super. There is not much about this job that I don't like.

    Cons

    I'm a planner so
finding out in a days notice that there will be a meeting with management is discouraging especially when I care for my elderly mother. I like to know things in advance in order to plan for them. With that said however, I also understand the need to get things accomplished and that people are busy.

    Advice to Management

More notice on events that you would like us to work that are outside normal working hours. Meeting advanced notice of at least 48 hours when able to do so.

I worked at Eurest full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Weekends off and the ability to work in a myriad of environments from P&L to subsidy and sports arenas to universities and fourtune 500 companies.

    Cons

They're getting better at training new hires but they are lacking in their talent growth and retention focus.

I have been working at Eurest full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Health benefits, 401k, great hours.

    Cons

Poor communication from upper management, training is nonexistent, not many opportunities for career advancement.

    Advice to Management

Need to have a better training program for onboarding process. Also, need to provide more opportunities for career growth & advancement.

I have been working at Eurest full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

My kitchen team are the only redeeming piece of this experience. I thoroughly enjoy working with so many different personalities with varying levels of skill and creativity. Weekends and evenings off are a rarity in this industry and are the only other piece that have kept me in this role for this long.

    Cons

Where do I begin? It was disturbing to discover that I am the only chef in my district running a clean inventory. The bottom line is all that seems to matter to this company, that being said they don't appear to care how you arrive there. The HR issues that have arisen have been ignored, even after an investigation into upper management at the unit level with a handful of first-hand experiences and testimonies. Hourly employees are discouraged and fearful due to the retaliation occurring. Cooks that have been with the company for upwards of 6 years are losing faith and leaving. It's incredibly sad to witness and even more disturbing to know that I cannot do anything to prevent it.

    Advice to Management

Get qualified, ethical management that treat employees with basic human decency. Plain and simple.
