    Pros

Awards and and recognition ! Very technically sound management giving you loads of opportunities to learn and perform!! Open culture!! Company cares for you!! Nice food and facilities and Cab!! Good benefits and compensation!!! Team Mobile is by far the best team!! Your compensation will depend upon your performance not Experience and designation. Irrespective of your Experience or Job title you can always put your point in product, process , or technical Engineering. Technical sessions across teams to enhance knowledge

    Cons

Most of the senior management sits in US and hence at times, India operation may feel lack of guidance. However, focus is shifting, which is good. Remote Location. Cab Drivers behave like an autowala.

I worked at Fareportal full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There is nothing trust me, except just some good people who I feel are stuck there

    Cons

Let me start by saying, this is one place where politics is embedded in the culture of the company, typical hire and fire culture, employees are no valued, infrastructure of 1960 , everyone including Senior Management is looking out for jobs and they are categoric about it as well and the biggest flaw is that no one will be clear about the hidden policies of the company

    Pros

Dynamic CEO Young and intelligent IT development staff

    Cons

Seems to be falling behind in innovations Some of the senior management lack in depth industry experience/knowledge which impacts policy making. Annual reviews are dismally disappointing. Hardwork, sincerity and commitment not properly recognized and rewarded.

"Lots of Cons and only few Pros"

I have been working at Fareportal full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Got a great team to work with (may not be the same case in other departments). Got good exposure in terms of work and knowledge (may be because I have not worked at such large scale in previous companies). The company is good to work for a year or two but not beyond that.

    Cons

There are many downsides of working in this company: - Politics is the first and foremost thing. Every department plays good role in politics (especially senior management). - Many senior personnel have no managerial qualities (English is also poor). There are lots of senior management people who gets the salary for just roaming outside with other people like them. A big liability to the company. - Senior management only knows how to create unnecessary pressure and maintain it on the team members. - Salary increment is not based on the Performance of an employee and in most cases it is fixed at 8-10% yearly. In many cases the management decides on its own and do not even discuss with the employee at the time of increment. - Employees can get promotion but it's of no use as the salary in most cases is not increased with promotion and in many cases a Manager is the only person working with no team members under him. - Many HODs get incentives only because their team is performing and has nothing to do with their own performance. - For Leaves you have to fight a lot. Even if you give a genuine reason your leave may not be approved. But it's not applicable in case of the HODs. - Transport department is very poor. It's of no help at all. No fix pick-up time and drop time. Very rude behaviour with employees. No rules/regulations defined for transportation. - An employee who is working in the company for past 4-5 years draws less salary as compared to the person who has just joined in at the same level. - Here all the departments who require to co-ordinate with other departments keep blaming on each other for work not done or getting delayed. - Almost no support from other departments. - Technology wise we are lacking way behind. The Technology team is not good enough to improve the product. Design team is also not good and work assigned to the design team always gets delayed with no valid reasons. - The top management has no vision towards growing the company and takes decisions in haste and then quickly roll-back. - The company is hiring people where it's not required and the departments who have the requirements are not provided sufficient resources to work. - Even if you have new ideas to implement, it's not fulfilled most of the times. - There is a big disparity in treating/handling the employees seated in US and those in India. If a US employee makes any mistake, most of the times it is ignored or go un-noticed and its not the same with employees working in India. Every employee working in US office is the king irrespective of the designation he/she has. - The induction process done by HR department is also very poor. - One important thing to note is the PF share of the employer is also deducted from your salary. I came to know about it after I got my first salary here and it was a sweet surprise.

    I worked at Fareportal

    Pros

There are employees at Fareportal that work very hard and are pleasant to work with. They do their best to make things work.

    Cons

Senior management sends mixed signals, ignore the competitive landscape, best practices, and employee satisfaction. C levels look for yes-men and pit groups against each-other to have them fight out senseless battles instead of urging departments to work together. There are employees aligned with management that will kill growth projects if they take credit away from their own efforts. Also, full-time employees are required to sign in and record hours in-office everyday and even if you are salary, if you don't log the appropriate hours they will short-pay you. The bathrooms are horrendous and the general hygiene and cleanliness in the office is questionable even though (to save money) they have cleaning crews vacuum the office in the middle of the day when meetings and calls are going on. HR and IT will not answer requests or tickets so employees have to physically find them to ask them for help.
